Biography
Nick is reading for the MSt Theology (Christian Ethics) at Linacre College. Hailing from Sydney, Australia, Nick is in Oxford taking time out from his role as the Managing Director of a policy research, advocacy and media consultancy for a sabbatical season of study. After doing an undergraduate business degree, Nick worked in management consulting at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He then pursued Christian ministry, doing an Honours degree at Moore Theological College before ordination and serving full-time in a Sydney parish. Participation in the Lachlan Macquarie Fellowship was his stepping stone to engagement in the spheres of policy, advocacy and media. He helps curating the John Anderson Media platform, was a foundation stage contributor to the Alliance for Responsible Citizenship, is involved in governance of various organisations and serves as an Honorary Assistant Minister at his local church. His research interests in Oxford will centre on evangelical political engagement; in particular, the approaches taken by Francis Schaeffer and John Stott in the twentieth century.
