Reverend Canon Dr Michael Brierley

Biography:

Michael Brierley is the director of formation at Ripon College Cuddesdon, where he teaches liturgy, church history and modern theology.  He is an honorary senior fellow of the University of Worcester, and for 15 years was the reviews editor for the journal Modern Believing.

After undergraduate degrees in history at the University of Cambridge and theology at the University of Oxford, he studied part-time for a doctorate in the history of modern theology at the University of Birmingham – The Panentheist Revolution: Aspects of Change in the Doctrine of God in Twentieth-Century British Theology (2007) – an area in which he continues to research and publish.
