Biography:
I gained a Laurea in Philosophy at the University of Bologna (1997), a PhD in Ancient philosophy at Durham University (2002) and a PGCE in Classics at the University of Liverpool Hope (2021). After holding various teaching and research positions in different European countries, I am now a John Fell Fund researcher.

Research Interests:
My research interests mainly lie in the history of ideas--from ancient philosophy, both ancient and non-western, to contemporary metaphysics. I am also very keen on the public uses of philosophy, that is, how philosophy can reach out for the benefit of the general public.
Research Centres & Projects:
I mainly work as a Researcher on the Leverhulme project “Persons and objects in ancient philosophy: Greek and Indian Buddhist” (PI: Prof. J. Westerhoff).
External Engagement:
I often engage with schools across the UK and the rest of Europe to promote the use of philosophy outside universities and for younger kids. For this reason, I have co-funded The Well-Pheal Foundation.
