Professor Andrew Davison (Regius Professor of Divinity) and Professor Luke Bretherton (Regius Professor of Moral and Pastoral Theology and Director of the McDonald Centre for Theology, Ethics, and Public Life), attended the launch of His Majesty King Charles III’s documentary Finding Harmony: A King’s Vision at Windsor Castle.

The event was organised by The King’s Foundation and brought together senior academic and public figures. Also present were Professor David Fergusson, Regius Professor of Divinity at the University of Cambridge, and Professor Ben Quash, Regius Professor of Divinity-elect.

Finding Harmony: A King’s Vision explores His Majesty’s long-standing interest in human flourishing, including the interrelationship of environmental responsibility, community life, education, and spiritual traditions.

The participation of Professor Davison and Professor Bretherton reflects the Faculty of Theology and Religion’s engagement with research and public scholarship on theology and ethics in public life, including work on human flourishing, the common good, and the contribution of religious thought to contemporary social and environmental questions.
