BBC Radio 4

Radio 4 produces a number of programmes, which may be of interest to current and prospective students of Theology and Religion. Most programmes are available on the BBC Sounds app. Programmes include:

In Our Time is a programme exploring the history ofideas with a panel of academics. Contributors to the programme include the Faculty’s own Dr Eleanor McLaughlin, Dr Jessica Frazier, Prof. Martin Goodman, Prof. Graham Ward, and Prof. Diarmaid MacCulloch.

Episodes are archived as podcasts and you can browse programmes in categories such as ‘Religion’ and ‘Philosophy’.

Very Short Introductions are paperbacks published by Oxford University Press, which offer concise introductions to a diverse range of subject areas including Theology, Religion and Philosophy.
