Biography:

Studied theology at the Universities of Durham and Cambridge.  Chaplain and Fellow of Merton College since 2002.  Associate Tutor in Liturgy, Ripon College, Cuddesdon.  Honorary Canon of Christ Church, Oxford, and a Wiccamical Prebendary (Honorary Canon Theologian) of Chichester Cathedral.  Member of Church of England Liturgical Commission.  Chair of Hymns Ancient and Modern Ltd.

Historical and Systematic Theology, History of Christianity, Patristics

Research Interests:

Liturgy: Christian Initiation; the relationship between baptism and confirmation; Eucharistic presidency; liturgy and drama; the relationship between liturgy and catechesis; the significance of the Common Cup
