Biography:
Samuel Hughes took an M.A. in Philosophy, Politics and Economics and a B.Phil. in Philosophy at Oxford, before completing a Ph.D. in Philosophy at Cambridge. He has spent time as a visiting researcher at the University of Tokyo, the Humboldt University of Berlin, and the University of Notre Dame. His research is principally in aesthetics
