Thesis title:

Ecclesiology in the Catechetical Lectures of St. Cyril, Archbishop of Jerusalem

Research:

Primarily a textual study, the thesis seeks to provide an exposition of Cyril of Jerusalem’s ecclesiology, particularly with respect to notions of initiation, membership and limitations/borders.

3 Year Educational Grant awarded by the A.G. Leventis Foundation

Other research interests:

Liturgical development, Christian initiation, Ecclesiology, Ecclesiastical music, Christology (particularly viz. the Council of Chalcedon), Early catechumenate and the Disciplina Arcani.

About me:

I completed my BA at the School of Oriental and African Studies in 2009 and my Master of Studies at the University of Oxford (Pembroke College) in 2010. I am currently in the fourth year of my doctoral research, also at Pembroke College.
