Dr Imen Neffati

Biography:

Imen is a Junior Research Fellow in Religion at Pembroke College Oxford. She works on the social and cultural histories of contemporary France and North Africa. She is currently working on a monograph that constitutes the critical biography of the French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo. Concurrently, she is working on a major new project that examines the Tunisian initiative to reform inheritance law, and the question of gender equality and secularism.
