Vacancy: Nolloth Professor of the Philosophy of the Christian Religion

FACULTY of THEOLOGY and RELIGION in association with Oriel College

The Nolloth Professorship plays a key bridging role in the relationship between the Faculty of Theology and Religion and the Faculty of Philosophy and has a distinguished history.

The successful candidate will be a scholar of international stature who can encourage and foster the Nolloth Professorship’s international reputation for its analytical approach to Christian Theology, although they may adopt any methodological approach to their own work. They will build upon a growing and exceptionally qualified field of graduate applications for the Masters and Doctoral Programmes in Philosophical Theology and will work with other postholders to establish a thriving research community able to attract external funding for its projects.
