Research Interests:

Mark's Gospel, its traditions, setting and purpose; the synoptic problem, esp. Luke's dependence on Matthew; the coherence of early Christian doctrine and the extent of doctrinal controversy in the early Church; the character of the opponents in Galatians and the Johannine Epistles; the Epistle to the Ephesians; New Testament Eschatology. Ecumenical Hermeneutics.
