Departmental Lecturer in Modern Theology
Grade 7: £31,076 - £38,183 with a discretionary range to £41,709 p.a.
The Faculty of Theology and Religion, in association with the Department of Continuing Education and St Benet’s Hall is seeking to appoint a Departmental Lecturer in Modern Theology to play an active role in teaching of existing undergraduate and graduate courses on Modern Theology. The appointee will become part of a vibrant research environment and will have opportunities to develop their career in research, teaching and collaborative work.
This is a full-time, fixed-term post available for three years from 1st October 2017 or as soon as possible thereafter.
The successful candidate will hold a doctorate (or equivalent) in a field of research falling within the broad area of Modern Theology. They will have a research record appropriate to their career stage along with an aptitude for, and experience of teaching. The appointee will demonstrate a readiness to collaborate with colleagues within and outside the College and University, and will possess excellent organisation skills.
